Japanese pop group AKB48 are featured on recent issue of FLASH magazine, which covered their performance-trip in Singapore last month. 16 of the group’s 48 members held a concert at the Suntec Convention Centre on November 12 in conjunction with the Anime Festival Asia. Dance version PV for Seishun no Flag (青春のフラッグ, lit. Flag of Youth), the fifth single by Watarirouka Hashiritai, a sub-unit of popular Japanese girl group AKB48.
Watarirouka Hashiritai is arguably AKB48’s most successful sub-unit. All their singles (and an album) have managed to reach the top 10 on Oricon weekly chart, including their previous single AkKanbe Bashi which peaked at #1.
The five members of Watarirouka Hashiritai are Mayu Watanabe, Aika Oota, Natsumi Hirajima, Haruka Nakagawa and Ayaka Kikuchi.

Japanese music video – a short movie to be precise – for Sakura no Hanabiratachi (桜の花びらたち, lit. Petals of Cherry Tree) by girl group AKB48, a 2008 remake of their debut single from 2006. The song expresses the nostalgia of high school graduation which usually happens around cherry blossom season in Japan.
