Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao and pop singer Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls are set to star in a Filipino movie, titled “Wapakman”.

Pacquiao, nicknamed Pacman, is one of the world’s top boxer and highest paid sportsman; while Nicole, the lead singer for PCD is actually a half Filipina… so, it actually makes sense for the duo to work together in a Filipino production.
Pacman will play a superhero in the action comedy with Nicole the leading lady; Filipino-Greek wrestler Dave Batista will play the villain [image via Pinoygigs]
Steven Purugganan is an 11-year-old Filipino-American who holds the world record for all five categories (three individuals, two teams) of sport stacking.

Pop legend Michael Jackson died on Thursday. He collapsed at his home in LA and pronounced dead at 2:26 pm local time. He died of cardiac arrest, with suspicion of overdosed on his prescription in some news reports.
I grew up listening to his songs, and despite all the controversies surrounding his life, Michael will always be the King of Pop in my heart… he will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace Michael.

American-Korean actor Daniel Henney is starring in CBS upcoming prime time series Three Rivers, a medical drama focuses on organ transplantation in the top transplant hospital in America.
Alex O’Loughlin takes the lead as the top surgeon, while Henney “a womanizing surgical resident who’s broken as many hearts as he’s replaced.”
Other co-stars include Katherine Moennig, Julia Ormond, Justina Machado, Christopher Hanke and Joaquim De Almeida etc.
Henney made his name in S.Korea as a top model and established actor; he recently gained wide notice in the west as Agent Zero in Hollywood hit “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”… and Three Rivers is set to boost his career even further.
